Sig Pics getting out of hand again?
Whatever happened to this >>>> http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ght=signatures
I've noticed lately that some pics are getting out of hand again & this causes dailup members alot of grief. I myself hate scrolling through large pics just to read the next response!

i agree, theres no need for a sig pic to take up half a page. i myself have a cable modem, so loading the images is not a problem but still scrolling through nothing but Sig'* can get annoying.

I'm with Al on this one also--I just have a lowly dialup, and waiting for 47 pics at 640x480 to load just so I can read a thread is annoying
Might help if people would learn to resize pics in posts also--I shouldnt have to scroll to the right to see a pic on my 19" monitor

I did make my sig a little smaller, right now I can't go very small with out loosing the quality. My photo editor looses alot of the quality when I go smaller for some reason. I wasn't even paying attention about the dimensions when I did it I just tried to make it small in kilobytes. What is sad about it is the new one is 480x347 and almost 39KB where the old one was 640x480 and about 29KB.

parallelcircuits, can you crop some of the picture out? I know you don't want to lose too much of a background, but some of it could be taken out.
I'm on dialup and I don't have much of a problem with pics downloading, but like Rat said, I tire of having to scroll through them to get to the next message.
