I have wanted to rant about this for a while but was always too lazy.

Personally I think the layout of the "view more emoticons" absolutely sucks. there is no reason we should have to side scroll (i use 1024*76 and scroll up and down. it would be SOOOO much easier if we could just scroll up and down instead of both ways.

it wouldn't take much to fit it into one window where we only have to scroll up and down.

That'* a default php template. We have no direct control over the way it places them in the window. It pulls the smilies from the database directly and arranges them. We input them in a list format, so the ORDER in which they are placed is controllable to an extent, but not the size or shape of the window.

so if you order them with less columns and make the colums longer you would no longer have to side scroll?

We don't have control over the WAY they are organized in columns. We only have control of the ORDER in which they are displayed.
