Default Full boost?

When a Series 1 is under full boost, does the little lever on the bypass shutter turn the shutter 90 degrees?

You may have read about my lack of boost and troubles finding a replacement BCA, but I tried fixing the seal on mine cuz it was leaking. I think it'* better than it was, but using a properly placed zip tie and grease, I think it'* making it to like 45 degrees with WOT. I greased the BCA rod and zipped the tiny zip tie just enough so it won't fall, so after a WOT run, I can see how far the BCA moved the bypass shutter.

And yes, I really need to invest in a boost gauge

F14, a boost gauge is invaluable. Get one asap. It'* the best troubleshooting tool you can have, and they're easy to install. There'* a post around here somewhere when I installed one on my 95 SC/SLE. In fact, I think it'* in Techinfo now.

Ah yes. Thank you for the good writeup. I've been putting it off cuz I'm thinking I want a cool Dakota Digital one ($$$$$) to sort of match the stock instrumentation.

I can feel it'* doing better, but not quite completely right, and I don't know how long my hose, RTV, and zip ties will last
