Holy ****, i need to get up to good WOT to get up to 9/10 lbs of boost.

Will what kind of radar detectors are you using? Isn't there ones that just sit up front that detect all around?

That whine is like a beautiful song.

I have a video of me taking off up to 40 from a bad launch on a small road, but I don't wanna put it on the net.

Nice videos!

Bullet,
My gauge only goes to 10psi. I'm in much the same boat as Jeffrey, so we have to estimate about 2 or 3 clicks off the scale. I've thought about an aftermarket boost gauge that goes beyond 10psi, but I like my trans temp and voltmeter better. I still have a good idea of my boost. The gauges just don't show up at night very well. I'll try to snap some daytime vid of the gauge pegged. (btw, my water/alcohol injection was NOT in the car last night).
When I was blipping the throttle, my rpms were low (below 3500) in second gear. I reach max boost 12/13 psi almost INSTANTLY on WOT. Before my rpms even reach 3500 rpms. I'd have to check to be sure. I assume it just dumps excess beyond that. Jeffrey, you're running similar if not more boost. What'* your take on all this?
The reason I ask is because I've seen a graph of the boost vs engine rpm and it'* fairly linear with peak boost near the 5500 rpm. Sort of makes sense if you think about it. The faster the rotors turn, the more boost it should make.
I've experimented with the boost dump valve bypass and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Mine does the same even with the boost dump valve bypassed. It max'* out at 9.5 psi (by the gauge) a very low 3500 rpm, like when you blipped the throttle. Just wondering how accurate the gauge really is. Maybe it overshoots???
Maybe someone like dbtk2 has done some Autotap testing on this and could tell us if it sounds realistic that maximum boost is achieved at such a low rpm.

I wondered about this myself a few months ago and talked to some people and this is what they told me. They said that if you take off the boost dump valve from the car you won't get much more boost, because even though the blower pushes more air at higher rpms the engine is using more air at higher rpms so the boost stays relatively the same because even though there is more air, there is more air being consumed. This is what I have heard. From what I have seen in autotap logs, the boost stays pretty consistant after ~3500rpms, before that the boost is lower. The boost will fluctuate about 1/2psi or so but stays mostly the same after 3500 all the way up to 6200, but before 3500rpms the blower isn't spinning fast enough to reach maximum boost.

Oh, and all you complaining that your boost guage only goes up to 10psi need to be quiet. You should consider yourself lucky. The boost guage on the GTP is electronic boxes in a 1/3 circle on the DIC, and when all 12 boxes are lit up (.5psi each) it is reading 6psi. So the stock boost guage in the GTP isn't even sufficient for the stock pulley. It is basically useless for us since we are seeing ~15psi under WOT. My dad doesn't want to put in a guage because his goal is still to have the car look completely stock on the inside and outside (under the hood is a different story though), so we just have to use the autotap to view boost. I am thankful to have the full 10psi guage in the SSEi, you won't see me complaining. The highest boost I have ever seen out of it was 11.172psi, so we wouldn't need much more for a guage anyways.

I'm running a Bel Vector 940 up front (best I've owned) and a Whistler 1730 in the rear (cheapo). Because I run the Bel so high up on the windshield, it doesn't have full detection to the rear. The Whistler will still alarm a rear hit first, even though it'* cheap. I can see it in the rear view mirror. Mounted high, dead center on the rear window. Both detectors are getting power from a remote switch on the center console, and are hardwired in. No cables or cords showing. Neither detector can be seen from outside the car. No radar detector in the world can detect the rear as well as the front. Pillars, frame, roof, all these things reflect radar and especially laser radiation away from the detector. Unless you go really expensive for a remote rear sensor, like a Valentine or similar.

As far as boost is concerned, I'm getting full boost alot faster at a lower rpm because of the smaller pulley and the ADTR intake. I'm expecting to loose a LITTLE bit of indicated boost tomorrow when the Magnaflow goes on (to complete my exhaust......FINALLY). The flow is still there, but the backpressure will be slightly relieved.

You're going to have to give us some more video/sound of that muffler!

Sounds good. Don't you just love the sound. I turn my radio off most times just to listen to it while I'm passing. Got BOOST?

Hmm...mine doesnt sound anywhere near that. In fact I hear mostly rumble from the exaust (stock) at WOT or even hard accelration. I do hear more of an intake hiss at WOT. I don't think I ever hear the "whine" of the SC. Maybe when I put the 3.4 on it the higher pitch will come through the exhaust drone.
