93 SSE No Boost
I have a 93 Bonneville SSE with Supercharger. Ever since I had baught it about 6 months ago, the boost gauage has never gotten above 0 even at full acceleration. The car runs and drives fine other than it has a loss of power between 1500-2500rpm for the first few minutes when cold.
I just want to figure out why it isn't boosting, I have time to work on it now but have no idea where to start looking.
I have a set of factory service manuals, but sofar haven't found anyhting useful, and did a search on here with no luck.
Any help would be awsome.

Check both the boost control solenoid, and the boost control actuator. Also do a search on those terms, or BCA and BCS. I found lots. Here'* one.

I did a little test on it today, could not find any vaccum leaks at all. I had the car started and during idle the bypass valve was fully opened, then I reved the engine up and it fully closed and opened anain during idle. I unplugged the BCS during idle and it let the bypass valve close.
So I am confused, because isn't the bypass valve supposed to be closed during acceleration, which its doing now. I took and unplugged and capped off the vaccum lines for the bypass valve and took the car for a spin, it had -8 on the boost gauge during idle then, but still wouldn't boost past 0 with it unhooked. So I dunno whats wrong, I know zip about supercharged engines, but I figured unhooking the bypass valve would cause it to full boost but I guess not.

Heh, seems as if someone removed the coupler before selling it to you. Do us a favor and pull your intake off temporarily and rev it up while under the hood. Any whine?

I can't tell if anything has been apart before, so what should I look for?
