Default 94 SC tune-up

is there after market coils for a 94 sc,and does any one recommend them,for the money????i have tho change my coils,and i was wondering any HP gains with after market,are rapid fire plugs from ac delco allright to use???

96+ supercharged coils are a little better than yours, and MSD coils might be a little better than that. There isn't much power to be gained. Most that can tell any difference say it is in mid-throttle response.

Brad...

Why do you have to change your coils? There'* a couple other posts regarding transmission etc by you at the moment and we probably want to keep these other items in mind as some things have a domino effect.

Like TPS causing the trans to shift funny.

i have this week to figure out what'* wrong with my daily driver,so unfortunitly im pressed for time.sorry for to many posts,

reason being that im considering changing coils,is that i just bought the car with 200miles on it and ithought they would be worn out by now,it appearsthat the last owner negletedthe car ,and drove the **** out of it without doing any maintenance,luckily i paid $700,but lots of issues...

Coils don't wear out..If they go bad....they will just give out and typically you will see cracks or experience issues when they are hot.

See my PM to you about a localish (I think) guy that may be able to help you quickly diagnose many of your problems. Frank has been there and experienced much of the same issues you are having.
