NOS Anyone?
Not that I have the money at this time but, Could anyone give me advice on NOS. I got a 1999 with 75,000 miles. I know when NOS came out years ago they said "Don't put it on anything with more then 70,000 without a rebuild. Just thinking?

My 94 SSE with 141k miles (for sale soon) still has an entire Zex dry system installed and took it nicely. But I installed 2 range cooler plugs, MSD wires and coils, a custom Superchip, and little other odds and ends.
A 99 SE can easily take it, I just think most people are intimidated by the negative aspect of nitrous...which gets blown way out of porportion.

Blown being the key word here?
If installed properly and within the limitations of the engine you should be ok. I would say its easier to get the setup right on an NA car then on a FI car.

NOS can be a great power adder to any car, If used right... On a bone stock V6 your not going to want to come right out of the box with the biggest jets in your system... If it were me i would definately get a jettable system... Start off with maybe 75 HP as long as you have the proper plug'*, fuel delivery, and im not real sure about the timing. I would have to think that you would need some kind of either MSD, like a 6AL system with a seperate timing retard or maybe a new PCM. The timing is very important...
Good luck and let us know how you end up...NOS is your friend... Make sure there is someone in your area that fill'* NOS...
Thanks,

Most modern "plug and play" systems come with 55,65, and 75hp jets to get you up and running. I was very careful the first time I installed it on the 94 and worked my way up from 55 to 75 shot jets. But in all reality, a L27 or L36 can easily take a 75 shot. I'm almost positive a 90 shot it doable (never had the chance to test this desire of mine out), but anything above that is risky without some extra work.
