SC Questions...How much boost should I get...??
I'm loving my 2003 SSEi... but I'm wondering if it'* performing like it should. Here are my questions:
- How much boost should I be seeing when accelerating hard from a stop? Right now it seems the most boost I get is about 5psi. Is that where it should be?
- About 1k miles ago my engine was replaced (short block only). The old engine had the coolest SC whine.... but now the new engine really doesn't make the same cool sounds. (I'm using the same SC as before... only the block was replaced) Should I be concerned?

In peak weather conditions..which aren't the heat and humidity you should see 7-8.5psi.
5 is about right at lower rpm..look at it around 5500 rpm

Looks like my SC is OK.... Merging onto the highway this morning I floored it and got the RPM'* up to 5500... and the SC was pushing about ~8 psi. I guess I wasn't getting the RPM'* high enough.
What about the absence of the whine?
