Default Purchasing supercharger from an ebay seller!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=8031589825
a1superchargers is his username.
Just thought I would ask if any one has had a problem with this seller? I know a lot of guys on this message board recommend canadian superchargers.com. I'm asking before hand on the recomendation of willwren (Administrator). Thanks willwren and the rest of you for all the help you give. Also willwren I recall you telling someone that if you mention that your a member of this board or if you tell canadiansupercharger that someone told us to buy from them they would give us a discount?

I have not found A1 to be another Floz name, but the price and "we change all 4 rotor bearings" make me wonder. It'* the same price as the 13ourlucky13 (Floz) auctions, and two the rotor bearings are hell the change. The price could be coincidence, or Floz just matching it, and they could very well have the right stuff to do the front rotor bearings. Make sure the rotors have epoxy coating.

If you do get it, check for any play in the pulley in any direction, feel for any grinding, or if it seems like the rotors hit when you spin it. Check for any wobbliness in any part. And report back to us.

THIS ONE IS GOLDEN!

Buy it.

I suspected and just confirmed that the eBay sellers AmericanCharger and A1Supercharger are in fact www.canadiansupercharger.com and that these units are rebuilt and distributed out of their Florida location. Canadian Supercharger has LONG been one of our best (if not THE best) sources for rebuilt superchargers and nosedrives.

13ourlucky13 is actually RANDY Peters, Mark Peters' brother (Mark owned Floz). Stay away from him. MARK Peters sells under itsells4you and Superstar1988. Stay away from them as well.

FYI, the negative feedback on A1Supercharger in that auction posted above was left by Mark Peters trying to kill his competition. He was using an eBay alias to do it.

In the past, Mark was dumped from eBay (Superstar198 but eBay did let him back in.

13ourlucky13 has been turned in for their past actions and association with Floz.

To sum all this up, don't hesitate to purchase from www.canadiansupercharger.com , or the eBay sellers AmericanCharger or A1 Supercharger.

Thanks all, and willwren I appreciate your knowledge and I was hoping this guy would be a good seller of a reliable product. Im still debating on doing the nose cone and the needle bearings at the back of the rotor housing. The ones behind the gears of the rotors I wont tackle from what you said willwren it must be difficult. But Im worried about using these bearings since when I initially cleaned them I used brake cleaner to clean up stuff and im worried that i harmed the seals in the bearings behind the gears so thats why I'm contimplating buying a whole rebuilt one.

The bearings aren't sealed. They're open on the gear housing side to allow supercharger oil to get to them. The seals are seperate on the rotor side. You might be ok.
