Default whistling..

well for the second time the sound of the bonnie has been
compared to a turbo diesel truck.. it has the whine build-up
and sounds great, and when the car shifts there is a whistle
or the sound of a blow off valve. i love the sound. does any
one else have this sound? does this indicate a problem?

Maybe your wastegate is doing something weird.

I'll put $5 that the pcv is not fully seated or missing the o ring and causing the whistle...

My L36 used to whistle at higher RPMs. I never really took the time to diagnose it and it eventually went away.

I'd venture to say there may be a little leak in your FWI. Did you use/plug the hole in the base of the RX-4750?

i have checked the vaccum lines, they were all hooked up fine..
no cracks either.

i will check the FWI. I connected the IAT sensor to the base of the RX-4750.
I will check to see if that is seated correctly.

The SC breather is the bolt looking thing on the pulley end of the SC snout. I highly doubt there'* an issue with it.. it'* a sealed piece..not really a breather..but that'* the name of it.

Double check that PCV.. I've put a new one in and gotten whistling.. (plus..I want the $5)
