Yes.

Yes.

I don't know, but you have a 92. Jet doesn't make one for you. Hypertech does. I hit my rev limiter in first with mine in performance mode, so the BCS bypass isn't too smart in my case.

Off the bottom of the black cylinder (BCA) and onto the second post on the BCS (might be a small foam filter on it.

Same as BCA mod?

I was pretty sure that Jet does still make one for the 92-93'*. I was going to get one before I sold mine.

WOT = Wide Open Throttle.

I never found a Jet chip for a 92 L67, and I looked high and low.

I couldn't find it on thier site, so I emailed them. Got an affirmative. Might give that a try.

I found this:

http://www.stillen.com/sportscars_pr...pe=1&ClassID=2

Says SSEi in the trim column, but the chip description says SSE and MFI, doesn't mention supercharged... I don't know.

This is where I got my JET chip earlier this year. I have the 19303S. I am unsure of the difference'*. They did not have the 19320 listed at the time. You would want to call JET and verify your application before ordering.

So I was curious about the new part# and I called JET. They are the same, but programmed for different broadcast codes on your MEMCAL (four letter designation on the stock chip in your PCM). You have to call JET to get the right part # and they DO have one for a 92 application.

Sorry for the highjack.

The BCA mod is safe. From what I understand, it just gets you into boost sooner. The boost bypas trick is a little different. I believe it disables the boost wastegate and gives you full boost entirely, which could lead to some serious issues. This should help.

Not with the BCA, but with the chip, you'll be hard-pressed to find one for the "hybrid" '96.

The BCS trick does not disable the wastegate. That would be bad. It disables the computer'* ability to limit boost, which is safe in certain situations.
