Pulley size
I went and measured my pulley. It appears to be about 3". So I quess I have the 2.85 but I thought I had read that the 92 had a smaller size. Can someone verify? A dealer worked on it once and it never had the same pep after repair. (Fuel strainer recall). I have always thought that they screwed up the strainer but now I wonder if the pulley was swapped. The service manager had a 94 at the time and I had a bad gut feeling when I picked it up.. What size pulley should the 1992 SSEI have from the factory.

Thanks
Thanks , I'll have to measure the ribs. Need to change the coupler and at that time I'll change the pulley. but I have to save up for PEMs first.

PEMS on your SSEi, you will have to do them yourself, easy enough though, and worth it.

Don, I strongly suggest doing something to your intake before that pulley change happens, as well as scanning for KR after the change, and checking fuel pressure BEFORE the change.
If you can't do the above, it may dictate a larger performance pulley to save your motor.
