Can't get this pulley bolt off!
Grrr... I've been trying for days now to get this bolt off of my M62 SC pulley. I've used WD40 and lots of my time. Any suggestions or something other than WD40?.. I was going to head to pepboys or advace and see what they have.

Get a spare belt that you can sacrifice. Wrap it around the pulley, then use large vice-grips, channel-lock, or a pipe wrench to hold it. If that fails, use an impact wrench to remove it.
The nut itself has loctite (threadlocker) built into it. After you get it off, use a 3-jaw gearpuller or pulley puller to remove the pulley.

Ok thanks, at least I know I'm having trouble for a reason. Since the nose is seperated I'm going to try screwing it to a 2x4 to hold it in place while i torque away.

If you take it to a shop, they can have that sucker off in 1 minute...
Tip on the pulley puller, put the nut back on and thread it to the edge if you think it might damage the threads.
