Worse case scenario Jimmyfloyd has a series 1 supercharger for sale. It'* a lot less than $900.
However follow Willwren'* advice and check the items he'* mentioning. You could save a lot of money and fix it right up.

I got a supercharger off a 92. Needs a coupler, but I believe that is it. Was looking at $150 on ebay as is, but I might be able to get and replace the coupler for you for $200. Both are 'or best offer' and would be plus shipping from Rochester, NY 14620. Let me know. It isn't going anywhere fast. I will get you pictures if interested.

ok so what does the coupler do and where do i need to where is it at so i can try check the one i already have i wanted to know if u would be able to hang on that supercharger tell next week and i buy it but i would like some more info so if u wanted to drop me an email at ibtrickster@yahoo.com and or aim me at smokedfo0 =aim

The coupler plays the all important roll of transferring the movement from the pulley to the rotors. The nose or pulley end of the supercharger is basically a shaft, with a flat round part that has three pins sticking out. Here is a pic of the nosedrive on a series 2. It is basically the same as the series one.
And those three pins inside the nosedrive.
The rotor gear that is driven by the coupler has the same three pins. Here is the coupler shown on the pins of the SC rotor gear
