Can you link us to the auction so we can see what this 'repair kit' contains? From that point we can give you some tips and tricks.

Some of the ebay kits are notoriously incomplete or incorrect in some aspects.

Please also edit your profile and add your year and model to your signature. Procedures differ by year, and we have no idea what you have.
