So would you diagnose it as a failing nose drive?
I changed the SC oil again tonight, it was just as dark as it was the night before, it rattles louder now, there is not a single hair of play or drag in the sc with the belt off...
Its resonating throughout the supercharger, however, its loudest at the rotor plate

I contacted Canadian Supercharger, however, I will NOT buy a unit from them if they don't do something about there pricing,.....m90 is 419 USD ...from a canadian company, and Canadian pricing is 790...ummm..**** that? I think so....exchange rate put that SC at 464 dollars....they are about 300 dollars off, Can't justify that, even for a top quality unit.

Matt, make sure you check that nosedrive with the belt off in ALL directions. Axially, rotating, etc.

In and out, front to rear, up and down, and spinning.

If it'* your rotor bearings making that noise, you MUST also replace your needle bearings this time. They're taking a beating. One end is letting go allowing the other end to wobble.

No matter which way i move that pulley, in and out, side to side..there is absolutely 0 play in it. Nothing, it feels like it did when i bought it.
If it needs bearings, i will just buy a new unit

You can get a low-miles used rotor assembly with good bearings and replace the needle bearings yourself for cheaper.

Im gunna see about getting an entire assembly from Bill Boost, he has one off of a 2001. I'm willing to pay more to get a unit were I dont have to press in bearings and such.
I also contacted Canadian Supercharger and now fully understand WHY there pricing is how it is.

Lemme guess. It'* because since most of their demand is in the States, most of the SC'* are being rebuilt in Florida to save on shipping costs.

Last I spoke with Brian, they would still produce units in to meet demand on a one-by-one basis. Is this what he told you?

No, he said they do stock the SC in Canada, however even in the states, purchasing that SC will in the end cost just as much when you entail added shipping charges and what not....regardless...i bought one from Bill Boost, off of that 2001 engine.
He said he will put a hub on there for me for the MPS, this saves a TON of grief, as I dont have a puller.....hopefully work can get me a company vehicle tomorrow so i can use it to travel all next week, as my car IS NOT a company car as I told them today, and I am affraid it might not make it....
