Default 96 ssei boost issue

just wondering why all of a sudden my boost gauge wont go over 5-6 psi rather then up towards 10 psi

a few days ago my car was fine running up towards 9-10 psi but today it wouldn't reach over 5-6 psi
i have a CAI, flowmaster muffler and no other mods

your topic will be move to the supercharged lounge in a min. I see you were in the chicagoland area were it was 82* today which probably caused your car have some KR which takes away from timing and probably lead up to lower boost. Wait on someone with more knowledge then me to confirm but thats what im thinking.

Moving to Forced Induction.

What octane of fuel are you running? What diameter pulley? Any other mods? What was the temp and humidity?

Remember when it was about 45* a month ago? I use to almost get into the yellow area. Now I get about 7 PSI. See if you can get a scan to see if any KR is there.

Temperaure of engine, humidity, and many other items factor in.

Do you have a scanner to check for KR?
