New SuperCharger
I put a new/Used supercharger on my car today. The car feels ALOT slower. The old one had a lot of play in the pully and was very noisy. Also the impellers had a black coating on them. The new ones where shiny. Any idea'*? Thanks

Where did you get the 'new' one from?
Do you have pics or a link to the ad?
Do you KNOW what year it came off of?
Did you replace your BCS and BCA, or move your originals over?
Did it have a pulley on it? What size was it if it did?
So many questions. Let'* start with those for now.

The SC came from a car with 8K miles yes those are right. There was no play whatsoever. I have no idea what BCS and BCA are. I used all the parts from mine. I also changed the SC oil. The car runs super smooth and quiet now. It still shows boost off the gauge and I used my 2.3 pulley from my old one.

Probably from a 94/95 is my guess if you've got over 10 psi with your original pulley. Do the ribs on the middle of the case go all the way down to the base or do they stop before half way down?
Umm, but the new rotors are shiny? That'* fine if it'* a 92/93. Buy it from 13ourlucky13?

I'm with you, John. He got the wrong charger. Boost stacking and KR are killing him.
SSE, be VERY careful driving that car. The PCM can only pull a certain amount of timing.
What John is asking is VERY important. Do the cooling ribs across the top of the supercharger disappear after they go down the sides? Or are they still prominent. Please take a pic of the old and new superchargers for us.
