Default Nitrous too close to TB?

I was wanting, for a few reasons, to take my air filter off and attach it straight to the TB and drill a hole in the end of it to spray my nitrous in. Its a little cone filter I got at the local shop. So all in all the nozzle is about 3-5inches from the TB. I was sitting at work filing down the filter so it would fit when someone came in and asked why I was doing that. I told him and he said "OHHH NO, that close to your TB you'll blow your motor up." I listened to his advice but not till later was it that I realized that on a carburated engine they have a plate where you spray it UNDER the carb. Effectively PAST the "throttle body" of the carburated engine. They don't blow up left and right so why should mine? I dunno, any ideas?

I saw the intake on the web page and thats what gave me the motivation to do it. The end result is going to be the intake on the TB and a hood scoop right above it with a 3sided box around the intake so it only pulls from outside the hood. I think it'll work great. My big thing is, will it be ok being that close to the TB? My IAT sensor has been out of its mounting for a WHILE now so i'm not really concerned with a place for it. w/b

Its a dry system...I took some pictures of my engine, but I can't get it under 16k! I got one down to 15.4k but it looks like lego blocks, you can barely tell what its a pic of. Anyway so is there any inherent danger in putting it that close? I dunno I think after I put the hood scoops in it'll work great as long as the nitrous isn't going to fry my engine.

I've heard of people putting the dry system past the TB, however this brings up a question of my own: Wouldn't most of the nitrous flow into one cylinder? Cause that can be just a "tad" bit bad.

Thats exactly what i'm worried about. It might not have enough time to mix properly. BUT two things: I'm putting it about 3-5" outside the throttle body PLUS Think about nitrous on a carburated engine. Its just above the intake manifold and there isn't any danger there so....?
