The solenoid is cracked as in 2 piece stead of that one piece? Or do you mean the lil bar underneath moving up and down when you rev the engine?

the selenoid? thats what its called? if so, yes, the top part is up. when i cut the car on i can cpush on it and the thing sucks it on. i guess its a vacuum. is it suppose to do that or is it suppose to stay closed?

replace it.. temporary fix maybe to take it off and silicone or other hi strength glue the snot out of the 2 pieces together till you get a new one.. that maybe why you feel laggin

I'd like to step forward and say I've used "Thingy" to describe something before...but man...sphere thingy really had me lost in the beginning. I didn't see anything spherish..
