The BCS is located and attached by the nut shown at the bottom of this pic. The big black can like thing with the vacuum hose is the BCS

Thanks Bill. It looks like theres a lock tab on the nut. does it only come out and go in one way or does it have to be adjusted?

No, that'* the boost control ACTUATOR. Not the Boost Control Solonoid. The solonoid is just out of view in that pic and has an electrical connector going to it.
