Default '92 ssei intake part 2

Can anyone give me an idea of how these two intake systems would compare, power wise?

A) Stock filter replaced with K&N (direct replacement) and gutted air box.

B) Aftermarket tube intake with large K&N.

If the performance increase were felt by going to the gutted/replacement, you'll feel at LEAST that much again by then stepping to the intake/cone setup. I suggest going for the gusto right off the bat, especially on the thirsty L67.
