Default Pulley Measurement?

Quick question:

Is a pulley (SC) measured from inside or outside? Meaning, to accurately measure a pulley should I take off the belt and measure where the belt rests or measure to the most outer lip of the pulley (where the belt does not rest).

Where the belt rests. Not the bottom of the V grooves, either. The peaks of the grooves. Ignore the outer lips.

Default Pulley Measurement

thanks for the reply. What should the factory boost measure in a 1994 series 1? Approx?

Your stock pulley should be 2.85" for a 94/95 L67. Boost should be about 8psi on the stock pulley.

Correct. That'* at or near sea level. Boost also varies by humidity and temperature slightly.

Default Pulley

I measured my pulley. I have a 2.365" pulley (400 mm) and I'm running 10 lbs of boost at 1000' altitude. Does that seem right?

That'* probably WAY too small if you really have a Gen3 M62 on that thing. I'm betting you're getting knock out the ying-yang. Do you have a knock sensor? Any way to scan?

If not, you may be in for some damage soon.

That'* a Gen3 alright. I'll tell you I had to do ALOT of work to be able to run a 2.2", much less a 2.0" on mine. And nobody else ever has.

Can I have a closer pic of the pulley?
