Removing SC Snout on 95---Is it even possible?
so i went to orlando to meet with sum1 so he could change my coupler for me...we pushed the alternator back...there was a mount right in front of the snout. we had ZERO access to one of the bolts. is it possible to just take a 95 snout off? or must the entire SC come off?

No you have to take off the whole Super Charger and replace alot of things. I know I did that on 6-12-09 and boy it was some work. Look here in the forums under search it will help you out I know it did me. Best of luck.......

If I remember right you need to pull the whole supercharger. 96+ you can pull just the snout. Once it'* off changing the coupler is the same. There are some write ups in the tech info area about working on the supercharger.

The only way to do it on the car would be to mess with the alternator bracket. That puppy spans from the alternator to the oil pan and is even bolted to the backside of the motor nearly under the exhaust.
Pulling the SC is the best method by far.

yupp..entire SC must come off. that freakin bracket is the worst placed engine piece ive ever seen. after talkin to the Riv guys as well. it has to be removed which takes a 1 hour job to about 2-3 hours of tedious labor of removing all the little bits and pieces and possiblity of breakin everything. im still debatin on what to do.
