hmmmm.
I believe that the stock boost should be around 8 - 10 PSI at wide open throttle. I know that on my '93 SSEi, when I floor it, the boost hits around 9 PSI at about 5000 RPM.
If you are showing only approximatly 2 PSI at wide open throttle, I would say that something is wrong for sure. What would be wrong, I myself could only guess at, but I am sure that one our resident gearheads will probably chime in soon in and explain any possible problems.

I had a similar issue, it sounds like your Boost Control Actuator might be bad. Could a gearhead verify that?

Bad bearings and/or a coupler don't reduce boost. It'* either a vacuum leak at the BCS/BCA, a bad BCA or BCS, or a sticky bypass valve.
We'll start with the sound and go from there. You should be getting 7-8 psi stock on a 94/95.
