2.4 is a little small most 95 SSEis with intake exhaust and ignition upgrades are using a 2.5" with KR...at max boost you will have ALOT of KR with a 2.4" unless you get rockers and have headers made and get a 160* stat. Im going to get a 2.2" but I will have rockers and a full water to air intercooler with an ice box when I put it on. I would look into something to cool your intake charge AFTER the supercharger i.e. an intercooler or willwrens secret project (that I havent heard much about lately) otherwise at max boost you will not be gaining any HP but losing it to KR. Im not tryin to bust you down for getting that small a pulley...youll just need some more mods to use it.

gordy(ssei95) and i have talked about this for a little while and he agrees that a 94/95 can drop down to a 2.4 with good exhaust and intake and not cutting any corners along the way either. i will be doing prevenative maintenance and kr killing mods before this pulley even thinks about goin on the car. gordy also said that he saw none or verrrry minor kr with just the exhaust and stock air box on his 95 ssei with the 2.5 pulley. nytro has a 95 ssei with the 2.4 pulley, we also have a guy with a 95 riviera with a 2.3 pulley and he is able to keep the kr under control too. so is a 2.4 pulley way out of the question? nah, itll just take a little more work than the 2.5, but i think itll be worth it

thats all I was saying is you want to do a little more work with flow....P&Ping the intake mani and heads as well as some rockers would probly keep it almost completely under control. BTW if someone has a stock air box it makes a little less KR because that stock plastic box doesnt hold as much heat as those big metal tubes....every little bit helps...but take it from me, on a warm day 80* plus with the 2.5 I FEEL the KR kickin in at higher rpm/boost....I dont even have a scantool, but I can tell its there (feels like my Buick does when the TC is on and the wheels spin to less extent)....but 390 for a set of roller rockers is a DANG good deal, DrJay is already gettin an April GB together for them....

From what I've seen here, I can tell you that you'll have KR without rockers at LEAST.

I have a scan tool that I was recording with at the time to verify the minimal knock (possibly not even true KR, but rather engine clatter). My results with KR are somewhat better than initially expected given my mods. It'* alos possible that by using the stock air box setup it was choking down the enigine so KR wasn't building up. Now that I have a CAI I need to scan again, but that will need to wait until spring since I garaged the car this year.

Why would the 94/5 Blower make more heat then the 92/3 using the same Pulley and thus spinning at the same RPM? Are the tolerences tighter on the rotors? if it'* opened up compared to the 92/3 you'll see less KR in theory.

The rotors have a different coating on them IIRC. Its basically like the difference between a Gen III and Gen V M90.
