Is this SC gasket and TB gasket for a Series II L67?
ZZP sent it to me. I told them I had a 92, but they sent me this. Certainly isn't the right one for my car.

Def. for a series 2. They must of heard you wrong, they don't carry any Series 1 gaskets unless they can be used for a Series 2.

I always buy mine from the dealer. That is most certainly for a S2. Why? Because ZZP sells nothing that is S1 specific.
You can get these from Fel-Pro in a top-end gasket set, but you already have the rest of the gaskets and seals you need IIRC.
Your TB gasket will not be paper. It'* made like the LIM gaskets. Plastic with inserts.

Those are definately Series II gaskets. As was said, they don't carry any Series I specific stuff (besides pullies IIRC) so unless it was the same gasket as Series II they woudln't have it.
I don't think many people have problems returning items to ZZP. It shouldn't be a problem.
I think your problem was due to communication since the wording you and ZZP each used was not very specific IMO. But thats just my $.02.

If they shipped the little yellow rings with it...I may be interested in taking it off your hands.
I'd call the normal parts puppies for an upper intake gasket set. When I did that, I got the SC gasket and two yellow o rings for the coolant passages.
