Default Very quick coupler Q

Figured I know the answer, but need to ask:

Do the M62 and M90 use the same coupler? I only see one listing at both zzp and intense, so I figure they're the same... but need to make sure.

Was getting ready to dive in and replace some blown out LIM gaskets (short story, but no time to tell it) and checked the play on my 190k */C (never had any maintenance done to it, when I bought it at 160k, I put in it'* first new */c oil since it had been bought...). Yikes. I can move it more than a 1/4 of an inch (on the circumf of the stock pulley) before it grabs.

Yowsa.

Anyway, need to order one before I do the job, so I don't go through two sets of */C gaskets before I'm done with maintenance for a while...

Yes, the Intense and ZZP couplers will work for you, I had the ZZP one on my 93.

Matt, the counter man at Burton Auto Parts on Saginaw at Maple told me they carry the coupler. I already had one for my 92 and didn't need one. It'* worth a call....could save you shipping expenses and get it in your hands more quickly.

No kidding?

I'll give them a call - it'd be nice to get my car back in order sooner than 3 or 4 days from now...

el closed-o.

I'll try again tomorrow before I place an order online.

Now, without starting a flame war, who ships faster: zzp or intense?

<edit> Never mind... between intense charging 5 bucks more, and charging no less than 4 bucks more for each shipping option (and as much as 15 more) for what appears to be the same unit, there'* not much in the way of a decision.

I've gotta say, I love UPS. Because the coupler was coming from the Grand Rapids area to Flint... my order was processed through ZZP this morning (placed online last night), and it will be here tomorrow, with the cheapest ground shipping possible through UPS.

I learned that from a UPS driver once - if you choose shipping with a '## day' attached to it (like 3 day shipping, 2nd day, etc.), they'll make sure it gets there in that amount of time. Had I choosen 3 day shipping, it would get here in 3 days. But because I choose generic ground shipping, it gets here as fast as it can. They went a little further to say that living in Michigan, just about any package sent out from the tri-state area will usually arrive the next day to my door step.

Just something to keep in mind - had I selected the next day shipping option (either one), I would have spent over $20 extra on shipping charges to have it arrive at the same time.
