I had issues with my BCA not allowing any significant amount of boost. Found the seal around the chrome rod was leaking. I cobbled it up with a piece of vacuum hose and RTV and it'* holding, for now.

Got a new one of these BCA or BCS, whatever the hell it was that was malfunctioning. New one works great, but I have 1 question.
The one I am holding is the one that failed. The one installed is the new one. WTF is the nipple closest to the front for? I don't have another tube that would go to it, why is it there? For later models? Is it cool to just leave the new one the way it is, or should I take the foamy crap off?
thanks!

It'* a vent. Yours used to have foam. When it vents vacuum, it sucks in air. That'* just to keep crud out, and isn't really important. Or are you saying that your new one has another unused port BESIDES where the foam goes? Should be one electrical connector, the vacuum port to the BCA, and the vent for the foam.
