2005 Park Ave Ultra - Boost prob?
Hello all, just purchased this PA Ultra Special Edition 2 days ago -
love this car but it seems slow - it will barely turn a tire from a dead stop -
the only thing I have to compare this engine to was back in 1998 I test drove but didn't buy a '94 SSEi - that car smoked the tires for about 100 feet with
traction control off - I did a visual check of the boost door actuator with
engine running and revving it - lever moved both directions freely - do I
have a boost problem or are the Buicks tuned that much different?

It'* possible its in the tuning. Or what its really called is Torque Management. Even then, you should still rip the tires loose for a little bit. Do you have access to a scan tool? Even a simple misfire code and cause the PCM to pull back on your boost.
