I should know this but I want to check anyway.

Will a Gen 3 SC work with a Gen 5 LIM :?:
I think the EGR ports are different. I know the flow opening is different. The gaskets match the bolt holes.

.....Some of you know why I'm asking.

I have an L32 LIM here right now. If I had a S2 L67 LIM also, or some really detailed pics, I could give you a better rundown on it.

The bolts and PCV holes all line up. The Gen3 blower will probably fit, but leak on the GenV manifold due to the difference in size of blower casing. On the Gen3..the casing ends about 1" past the opening. The GenV opening is about 3/4" bigger. You may not get a good seal on the snout end.

I have a Gen3 charger and GenV gasket to compare if you'd like...I should be able to get a pic tonight.

An easier possibility may be to buy a larger pulley to swap up in sizes instead of swapping blowers. Or listen to your blower with a stethescope (I bought mine at Sears for $15). If you hear anything odd..maybe it needs a rebuild.

Even without a stethascope it sounds like a whiney big blower even at idle compared to the Gen 3. Not sure if that'* normal.

What is there to rebuilding it besides replacing bearing. It has a rebuild snout. The rotors look good.
Will the bad bearings cause KR :?: Maybe Zilla porting got some contaminants in the bearings even thought they were taped. :?

I'm gonna run it without the belt (SC turning) tomorrow to see if it still produces part throttle KR.
I have a concrete pour in the morning (taking the day off work for overtime) for my new backyard storage shed, but may have time in the afternoon for a trial.

I don't think that is normal. I have heard of some people who use Northstar TBs reporting a faint whine at idle (not including me) but you still have the L67 TB. Bad gasket possibly?

Even with the N* tb..I don't have any whine sound at idle.
