There'* your problem. That filter is designed to be a restriction on a 2-liter import. There'* no chance in h e l l that thing can flow enough to keep up with the demand of that supercharger.

Get a quaility name-brand filter that isn't specifically designed and sold for the import tuner/cosmetic market.

Default Filter

I had planned on switching to the K&N filter. But as I said before, I thought it was restricting flow too, So I took the filter off and ran it with no filter at all, the results were the same as with the filter on. :?
Only time it went back to normal boost was when I put the stock airbox back on.
But it does have more power with the new intake.

No, it doesn't have more power with the new intake. Less boost is significantly less power. It'* all in your head.

What is the dickfer on the end of the pipe? If you remove the pipe..you will see more boost. I think that thingy on the end of the pipe is acting as a restriction.

So you think the smaller pipe could be a problem ?
The chrome thing over the filter is supposed to be a heat sheild.
Got it on ebay, Chrome intakes

That is over the filter? How small is the filter in sq inches?

If it'* smaller than the panel filter or a good K&N, then sell it to a Honda driver. It'll probably be an improvement for them....

If looks like a detriment on your car though.

Just wanted to let you know that I tried I more test with this intake , The problem can't be restricted air flow because I took the whole intake off ( WIDE OPEN INTAKE ON TB )
and took the car for a short fast drive, still low boost +3-5 !! Stock airbox brings boost back to normal +7-8. Still wondering if a sensor is showing so much air that it'* telling it to dump boost !
I swear the car feels better with the new intake ! I don't think I'm crazy !
