nosecone issues [m62]
something that did not cross my mind until reassembly is that the inboard [coupler side] bearing housing had a 'polished' look to it. i pressed the new bearing onto the shaft along with the pin plate. upon going to press that into the nose cone i found that it can 'press in' by hand. basically the outboard [pulley side] bearing was holding it all together.
while the inboard bearing has no play is not tight enough to press it. basically the outer bearing race on the pin plate side can spin in the nose cone. that is the noise it was making prior to getting into rebuilding it. even the oe bearing which i took out is too small to press in.
questions:
a)anyone have a nose cone that needs to be rebuilt for cheap?
b)is this something anyone has encountered and is there a 'plus size' bearing available?
any other options? i have a few ideas but the most cost effective would be a nose housing.

As this is a question regarding the physical Supercharger itself, I moved it to Forced Induction to get the right exposure.

No, you'll never achieve correct alignment with grub screws, and you may end up leaking over time. That entire area is filled with oil (even 3 grub screws point-loading the bearing face will allow oil to penetrate).
Hold out for a spare nosedrive.

not expecting anything positive to come from it though.
the more i thought about it the more the damage to the nosedrive added up. 90% of the 'polish' makes are on the top of the inner housing bearing sits in. makes perfect sense since belt tension would extert force in that direction.

That nosedrive will work perfectly for you. The mis-listing is the GTP. It never had the S1. All M62'* for GM applications from 91-95 are identical with regards to nosedrive.
Make sure the seller doesn't sell you an M90, and just posted the wrong pics. Then tell him the M62 isn't worth as much as an M90 and offer him 100 bucks.
