Which tensioner?
I've got a stock 92 SC pulley on my 94 SC. Should I use the stock tensioner pulley or the ZZP? I've got the ZZP on there right now. But it seems to me that the stocker might push farther under the SC nose and create more belt wrap, because the oversized ZZP is taking up too much slack. I also think I'm getting some belt slip. My boost builds a little slow from near to full WOT.

Stock belt length. What I'm thinking here is that the smaller tensioner pulley would leave more slack, then would push farther to take it up, and be futher under the SC pulley.

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
I don't think so. Just the opposite. Here'* mine with the 2.2" pulley and ZZP idler installed, holding the stock idler in front:
As you can see, the smaller idler would allow the top path of the belt to rise at the idler, decreasing the amount of belt wrap, and ALSO decreasing tension on the spring.

It'* a stock belt. Put it on myself. The nose is in the same position, so as far as the tensioner is concerned, I'm stock. Bill, what would yours look like if you had the stock pulley on. Think of it that way.
