At this point, it might be best to see if we can get you and driverjohn together for a short meet and have him take a look and diagnose.

If it'* as you describe, you'll need nothing but the two bearings and the seal for the ND, 2 bottles of oil (or one intense bottle) and the red gasket maker. Coupler too. You need no other gaskets or seals.

There really isn't anything else in the SC that can cause the symptoms you're talking about, and the only other owner-servicable parts are the needle bearings at the other end, which don't cause what you're observing.

It doesn't sound too bad yet. Just remember we have a meet in April (and a smaller one later this month). If shop charges end up being more than round-trip gas, get down here to do the work (order your parts first).

when is the meet this month and where is it at? also is there a good page that shows the rebuild process so I can print it and take it with me.. seems that most mechanics Ive spoke to here are afraid of working on the sc is this common?

You'll be lucky to find a shop that will do it. Most won't take on the 'risk'. Or they simply don't have the experience. Most shops view superchargers as taboo.

The meet info is in the Western Meets section. "Oregon in April". The meet this month is just Paul and his son (silverbullet) rolling through one weekend and back the next on vacation. I'm usually pretty open every other weekend anyway.

We're doing an L36 top end, a S2 L67 Gen3-GenV top swap, a GTP axle, and a couple other smaller jobs. 3 members plus a couple spouses so far (besides myself).

You need:

http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/...3800_Induction

http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/...3800_Induction

OR:
http://www.rollingperformance.com/snoutkits.htm
(but you need to order the red gasket maker, as I don't like to use the black sealant that comes in the kit)

AND:
http://www.rollingperformance.com/scoil.htm

Instructions:
http://www.rollingperformance.com/snoutrebuild.htm

But that doesn't make the technique clear on the one trying to push the other out. When and if you find a shop, I can explain that better and show pics.

Keep in mind, if you come here, I'll press the bearings at work (2 miles away) during the meet.

if I dont find a shop to do it and I could get to you what would you charge me to do the work? I really like my car and got a great deal on it so I would like to get it to near purrfect running condition and since the deal was so good I can afford to do some things to it just having a prob finding anyone with knowledge about these cars in my area. and thanks again for your help thus far, before talking to you I was about to order a whole new sc and pay way too much to have it installed.

You buy the parts and drive down, even spend the night if necessary.

I don't charge. This is what we do. You'll learn on yours, and help the next member in your area when the time comes.

I may also feed you once or twice, and open my bar for you.

wow really that sounds like a good thing even if I find a shop .. I would always rather learn how to do these things and pass them on. I have about 1 month of free time so tell me when is good and we'll be meeting up

When you're ready, just post in Western Meets (new topic) and we'll work it out. There'* almost always another member that will want to join in.
