well my search for driving lgihts with a clear lense wasnt making much progress, i opted against the hellas because they were $60 and i knew i could get a better price, dont rly need angel eyes, at walmart i found cyberwhite driving lgihts with a clear lense and proburners which i thougt was slgihtly blue but it was just an illusion caused by the blueish bulb, i was gonna get the cyberwhites but upon closer inspection the proburners had a smoother, shinier reflector with less imperfections, and theyw ere $10 cheaper, did i make the right choice? i havent opened the box yet so i could always exchange if anyone here has had problems with them

That is actually what I just installed on my bonneville.

The funny thing is on the outside of the box it says "Performance Driving lights," but in the instructions and aiming instructions it says that the model I bought was in reality fog lights. From what I can tell, they are infact driving lights.

Do not be fooled, even though the bulb appears to have a blue tint, it is infact very white, not even a blue tint. The lenses (or what ever) are very thick and durable. While installing them, I carried them across the garage and dropped them on my concrete floor, it landed right on the lense part. After a close inspection, there was absolutely no damage. No cracks, no scratches, and no pits. I have been driving around with them for about a week and a half, and there is no piitting what so ever.

As for wiring, I just tapped into the stock wires, and they are fine. No problems with that aspect. That way you don't have to go through the firewall, only downside is since it is using the same wiring, they will turn off with you high beams, unless you do some modifications.

Only strange thing to me was the insulation on the white wire. The insulation seemed to be cloth like. It was something that I have not yet seen. Anyone know why this is like this?

Anyway, this really wasn't going to be a long post, but it turned into a medium sized rant. I hope you like them.

FYI, as a reference point, the low beam bulbs are Xenon bulbs (similar to silver stars.). They are both quite white in color.

good to know, i already have better bulbs to put in anyway my only concern is the plastic housing, its a glass lense, metal reflector and metal mounting bracked, but the housing betweent he brackets and the reflector is plastic and i was planning on upgrading to 100w bulbs
