Twilight Sentinel Doesn't light up.
Here'* my problem. On the twilight sentinel head light/fog light switch the "off" doesn't light up any more. Previosly the whole sentinel burnt out completely. I replaced it with this one I got off ebay and now the "off" doesn't light up. I see the circuit board underneath and all the lights. Can I just change the bulb for that one spot? If so... How?

Not really sure whats going on either.
You had replaced a bad unit. And now the lights work but the 'off' does not light up???
hmmm...want to help..but confused.

I'm thinking that one of the LED'* on the rheostat switch assembly is out and a portion of the switch (off) is not glowing.
If this be the case, then I would surmise that the new switch was not 100%.
You can replaced the LED if you are skilled with a very hot soldering iron, with a very small tip. You can pick the LED'* up at Radio Shack.

Understanding that another one is already on the way, this is more for FYI purposes...
There is an LED to indicate when fog lights are on, but the backlighting itself is incandescent. Most likely cause is a bad bulb. These units can be taken apart and repaired, but you need to be careful because I've seen some where clips were broken in the process.

Great to know! Thanks for the info. On my first twilight sentinel, the off side stopped lighting up, then 2 months later the whole thing stopped lighting up, but the little yellow indicator light inside the fog light button still turned on and off with the switch, but no red backround. So I finally found another one online (MoradParts.Com). Pluged it in and noticed the off side again wasn't working, but the rest of it did, so I knew then that it was a matter of bad bulbs rather than electrical problems. Thankfully I was able to get a hold of the company and explain the situation. He simply said they test all their parts prior to shipping and sometimes it'* hard to see if every light works per part because of the lighting in their warehouse being so bright. That is true because I leave my dash lights on durring the day but if facing direct light, you can't see them if the sun is out. Must be something about the red. They request you send your part back so they can assure its under warranty. He told me, "I don't find it worth your time or money to send it back and another one will be on the way, followed by: "I trust your word Greg". These folks have been great to me and in the future will be my first resort for replacement parts for my 02 sle. I strongly suggest the bonnie lovers on here go through them for their needs just to check their options first. By the way, it was only 20 bucks for the whole part. The dealership wanted $60!
