need help troublshooting ECM
I have a intermittant problem with my ECM, and it is either the ECM itself or the power or ground for the ECM, cuz when the problem does arise, the ECM is not powering on, so next time it acts up i want to check the power and grounds to the ECM, i have the pin layout, but will i need to put a load into the circuit when i check? and what is the easiest way of doing it, i have a multimeter....gimme some ideas please.

I don't have the factory service manual for your year, so this will be very generic:
Unplug each connector to the PCM, and clean each one with contact cleaner.
Let them air-dry.
Connect and re-connect each one 3 times.
Did that help?
