You guys also need to remember the gauges don't work the same between all models of the same year. Some have the sweep function on startup, which may have some kind of effect here.

w/ our 97 the gas is the only thing to sweep, while on the 00 all of the gauges do a full sweep at the same time (looks kinda neat). I guess I am easily amused.

Ok.. just ran outside in the subzero temps and checked it....
Speedo and Tach don't sweep, but both zero themselves and remain zeroed when you get out of the car. Kinda weird but whatever, nothing big to worry about.
