trailer hitch wiring diagram
I have searched this site for information on hooking up a trailer light wiring pigtail to a 2000 model without success. Has anyone seen any info on this? On my pickup I was able to buy a plug in wiring harness to use without any cutting. I have not found such a harness for my Bonneville. Thanks, Bill

You won't find one, either. But your wiring kit should have a general guide for which wires to access behind the taillights.
Bonnevilles aren't generally used or reccommended for towing.

You also need to make sure that you buy the kit that includes the adapter for having the separate turn signal on the car, while the trailer is likely to have it integrated with the brake light.

trailer light wiring
My main use of the hitch is for my wife to attach her bike rack. I also have a small, light utiluty trailer that I sometimes use. Thanks for the info. Bill

You'll have to simply splice directly into the harness....but as archon suggested, you'll need the turn adapter. Your wiring harness kit should come with the GM color codes already.
