Stereo/ECC - Steering Wheel Buttons

One of a couple of different things...
Its possible that the Button unit had died( I have never seen that happen )...
Its possible that the Clock spring unit which transmits info back and forth between the steering wheel controls may have bit the dust..
Also possible that you could have a bad Translator doohickey... Located near the bottom of the steering column
