Compass and DIC problems?
Hi
Since I bought my car the Compass and DIC has been totally dead.
I've been thinking about a larger repair to fix this, but today something strange happened.
Suddenly when I turned my lights off (the engine was still running) the compass and DIC got turned on? It stayed turned on for 10-15 min and then it went off again. It feels like this COULD be a easy fix, andyone has an suggestion about what I could try with, before I start the huge repair (lifting dashboard etc)

Please put your year and trim level in your signature.
Then do this:

While it'* out, carefully clean each connection on each board as you disassemble them carefully.
If that doesn't work, you may have to re-flow some connections on those two sub-boards.
