Default PDL'* (fuse blowing)

I tried to find my prob in the forum, but was unsuccessful. My PDL fuse blows when I replace it. I am wondering if there may be a wire that is contacting metal causing a short. Is there anyone who could advise me of a possible solution? Only my PDL'* aren't working.Thank You

Welcome to BC. What is a PDL? What year & trim level is your car? 2000+ ? A blown fuse is normally caused by a direct short to ground. (voltage to ground)

Sounds like a ground , do you have any other shorts or weird activity.

Please put your year and trim level in your signature.

Disconnect the PDL switches in both front doors and try the fuse again. If it still blows, you'll have to go into the doors.

Default fuse

When a fuse snaps right away its usualy a wire short to ground or a shorting switch or solonoid. As will suggested try unplugging the front switches and see if it pops.
If not plug only one on then try it, then the 2nd.

does it pop immediately or when you hit the switch?
