If you can't kneel down and insert 1 wire into two holes..(one end into each hole) then yes.. pay someone.

Otherwise..buy a remote and you can program it yourself in under 5 minutes.

We..your friends are here to help and walk you through it. Nothing bugs me more than seeing a perfectly capable person pay another person who is no more capable to do something for them.

Let us teach you how to keep your money in your pocket.

You might surprise yourself with what you can accomplish. If you're uncertain, as Bill said, there are a lot of helpful and willing people here. The only way you're ever going to become comfortable is if you dig in. Don't take on huge projects at first, but try and work through some of the easier ones. I'd bet my next paycheque on the fact that not one person here hasn't "screwed something up" in the past. This is how we learn. Then, we carry on and move forward. Most of all, try and enjoy some of these experiences. There is little more gratifying than a good job you've done yourself!

Ok everyone, I realized how easy it is and what to do(I feel stupid) and now I have the $ to get a remote. Now what I need is a reconmenddation on certain remotes or if there is a certain brand/model to avoid.Posting a link to a good remote would be helpful to. Thanks in advance!

Are these codes For Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight'* as well or are the slightly different.

The Reason for me asking this is because i went to the junkyard and saw a BUNCH of Bonnie'* and a BUNCH of Eighty Eights and i picked up 2 remotes while i was there.

The codes are:
1)AB00103T
2)AB00104T

I just notices MD Junkyard are H-body HEAVEN!!!!!! anyone from the MD, DC, VA area should deffenitly check out crazy-ray'* Junkyard for anything H-body.
