Rear window defrost+command start
So, last winter, i learned that my old as dirt command starter does not automatically turn on the rear defroster, but since the command start it self works, i got to thinking.
Haven't looked at a wire diagram yet however. Would it make sense to be able to split power from the 12v switched supply going to the ECC unit, using a T, run that power to a switch located somewere in my car, then run a lead from the Rear defroster button wire, if at all possible, back to the switch. Then at night i could turn that switch to on, then when i press the button to start the car up, it bypasses the ECC Rear Defrost button, and automatically supplies power to it, defrosting my window..
Possible?

While you are looking up the circuit see if there'* a timer associated with it. Some defrosters are on timers. I believe this is to keep them from overheating and burning up. Just a little thought
