Default Cold weather solutions

I know I've made a great number of post in the last few days but I'm going to ask two questions at once this time.

1. I'm in SouthEast michigan and it gets really cold out here, the last few mornings i go to turn my engine over and when I turn it over after the bings stop it clicks and starts to turn over slowly and then after a while of turning it starts and resets all my stuff like radio presets. I just pulled the starter solenoid off and tightened all of the wires onto it and put lock washers on them so they wont come loose. Is there a way to keep my battery from freezing and causing this?

2. My passenger door'* lock will not unlock with the unlock buttom but it does lock with the button.

3. I know this is in the wrong section but does anyone know how to replace auto glass cause my winsheild needs replaced and if anyone in my area could help without me paying $200+ that would be great. Thank you all

First off let me say sounds to me like your battery is bad but after its replaced there is aproduct called the battery blanket its just a foam/foil type material that shapes around the battery...

second windsheild'* are'nt to bad ...I could help if you came to me..me driving to you would cost about 100 bucks in gas lol as i only have my silverado now and no longer have a bonne....

Will it lock/with both buttons but not unlock with both or just with the pass side switch...??please clarify
If its just the passsenger side switch i would guess that it is broken on the top where you push to unlock it

It will not unlock with either buttons and every once in a while not even unlock with the key.

The battery was brand new when I replaced the engine and i took it to autozone and they did a load test and it came out fine.

Do you have another windsheild already and if so how much to replace if i traveled to you?

ok, how long to replace a windsheild? And would it be the regulator that makes it mess up starting in the cold?

the regulator..will draw power from your car when off if its bad and make your battery die or lose power as it could be it coincedentally went bad when it started getting cold...but it just sounds to me like a serious lack of craning amps....what is your batterys cca rating ....and the windsheild shouldnt take much more than an hour or two depending on how clean the inside of the windsheid frame is
