Default Ok, time to start seeing the dash at night.

When I started driving my 99 SSEi I swapped a Alpine CD deck in. All my dash lights worked, until the day after I installed the Alpine deck. I since have reinstalled a stock CD player.
I still have the DIC, digital radio display, climate control display, compass display and HUD, but all the back lighting for all the guages, buttons, radio eq, climate control buttons, door switch projector LED'*, etc.... are not on.
I have checked the fuses on both sides of the dash, and the maxifuses under the hood and have found no blown fuses.
I also checked my wiring over for shorts and grounds in the area of the radio wiring and found no problems.
Anyone have any clue what'* going on?
My dimmer control doesn't do anything, but turn the overhead lights on. Shouldn't the radio, CC, compass, and DIC displays dim with me turning the dimmer dial? :?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 2 month old terminals better not be corroded.
Even if they were why would that effect some lights and not others?

Neither.
Surprisingly the little LED light for the fog lamps is on, but not the backlighting behind the foglamp emblem.
The trans indicator light is on, but not the lighting behind the gear letters.

those are all powered by a gray wire off of the headlamp switch. check if you have power at the yellow wire on the headlamp switch and continuing to the gray wire on the headlamp switch. If you have HUD, the yellow wire should be hot though. It looks like a headlamp switch (if no voltage on the grey wire) or busted ground s213 which is in the instrument cluster area.
