Nope..probably easier.

Pop the trunk, look down by the latch. Change the lockout button to the other position and try the door button.

Maybe one other thing to try is to see if you get any volts at the latch when the button is pressed. Having said that, I've no idea where the latch connector is.

If there are no volts at the latch, you might have to pop the door panel and check the button for continuity when pressed, unless there is a connector outside the door panel that you can check for continuity.
