Automatic Light Sensor
Hi.
i have a little trouble with my Photocell.
when i turn on the twilight sentinel with the Photocell installed the lights will never go on. (expect i turn them self on with the ****)
when i pull the Photocell out the lights are ever on as soon as i turn on the car or even the ignition and stay on for the time the twillight sentinel is turned... so this works fine.
Now, i think it'* the photocell itself, but how can i test if it works? I checked with a multimeter but even in the dark or in direct sunlight i read out 0 Ohm. Do i anything wrong or is this showing that it'* broken? If so, where could i get a new one? i found this nowhere..
And is it correct that the lights will stay off when it is broken? I thought i have to be the other way round, that they will stay on... like they do when i pull it out...
Any idea? You Guys know so much about that cars, so i hope you could help me...
Here in Germany at least there are driving just a few. maybe 10...but at least i only know 3 (including mine...) in whole Germany, so here'* no one who knows about the Bonneville...
And another thing:
In my other thread i told about my Check Monitor Problem. Maybe when this is gone i will change up to Xenon lights. Would this bring a failure back on the monitor or is this ok?
Thanks for looking and your awnsers.

Hi
i changed the Sensor and the lights work as they should.
But the question about xenon lights is still in my mind.
And the check control is already lighting up everytime i turn on the lights.
