I dunno where this belongs but I think it is better suited to electrical.

I'm looking for a hole to run electrical wires for fog lights from the switch inside the cabin to the relay near the battery. Currently the wires are way too tight and run straight across the engine cover and are too close to the radiator for my comfort. The only options I have now are to splice the wires, or move the wires. Believe it or not I would rather take the whole dash out and move the wires instead of splicing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like a Pontiac drilled firewall hole near the center or passenger side of the dash. The switch in the cabin is mounted under the CD player near the shifter. Does anyone know of another hole!?

Running over the engine cover, grounded to a radiator support bolt, yes I pulled this one outta my a$$.

Current location of the wiring shares a firewall hole with the windshield fluid pressure and relay hoses.

Inside the car, above the pedals below the steering column. The wiring runs from the dash, up above the cabin fuses, and then out the firewall.

Splice the controls, I had to...

I didn't splice, I made extensions. The wiring harness for my setup used general spade connectors (I think that'* what they're called) so i just made a 3 foot section, with one end having female, and one end having male.

Phish if you want, we can whip some up for you here in mankato, or at the meet next weekend?

Oh Yeah... You could do that, I just have an endless supply of mechanical connectors from work... Wouldn't take you but one little baggy of Spade connectors fron RadioShack.

Thats what I originally wanted to do but I couldn't find the spade connectors. Looks like I'll be heading over to Radio Shack tomorrow to get all the parts. Hopefully Big Bertha will be back together and ready to run before Saturday.

Just wanted to say thanks again, checked at Radio Shack this morning, they have exactly the spade connectors I need, and the wire might just work.
